Carlson Private Capital Partners is a private investment firm formed by the Carlson family, a family rooted in a legacy of entrepreneurship since 1938. CPC invests non-institutional, private, family capital in businesses with the potential to create sustainable long-term value. Our firm is fundamentally different than a traditional private equity firm. We represent a third option for owners and management teams who do not want to 1) sell to a competitor or strategic buyer or 2) sell to traditional private equity; limited by short-term investment horizons and institutional constraints. We know it takes time to build a great business — we invest from a committed, deeply aligned capital base with no outside pressure for short-term liquidity.
