As an Associate, Jacob contributes to Carlson Private Capital’s deal underwriting and execution, relationship development, investment thesis development, and portfolio management.
Jacob joined Carlson Private Capital Partners in 2025. Prior to joining Carlson, Jacob was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Service and Industrials Group at Piper Sandler where he focused on the execution of sell-side M&A transactions. During his time at Piper, Jacob contributed to numerous transactions and focused on crafting marketing materials, creating financial and valuation analyses, and performing due diligence. Jacob graduated from St. Olaf College, where he earned his B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance.
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Eden Prairie, just outside of Minneapolis, MN. My childhood was filled with time at the hockey rink, on the baseball field, and adventures with my siblings. No matter how busy life got, my family always made time to come together – especially over my mom’s incredible home-cooked meals. These days, my parents live in Naples, Florida, and I love to visit them and spend time at the pool and beach.
Perfect Saturday? My ideal Minnesota Saturday includes spending time with my favorite people – friends and family. The day would kick off with a round of golf, followed by grilling out on the Blackstone and watching endless football games on my patio. We would then end the day with a movie and bowl of popcorn.
History with your own family business? Some of my earliest and fondest memories are working alongside my Grandpa at our family’s hardware store, Pellicci Ace Hardware. Whether helping put away orders, watching him repair screens, or sharing lunch at the local Dairy Queen, I learned that business is more than transactions—it’s about relationships, integrity, and community. Those values continue to shape how I approach both life and work.
