Quantum Design, headquartered in San Diego, CA, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the NanoScience Division of Oxford Instruments, located in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom.
The acquisition brings together two leaders in cryogenic systems: Quantum Design’s leading physical property measurement systems and NanoScience’s ultra-low temperature cryogenics instrumentation. The synergy of complementary products and expertise will enable the combined companies to bring new and exciting products to the marketplace to advance cryogenic science and technology.
